Incompressible and compressible liquids

Under certain circumstances, compressibility can become an important consideration. Accurately modeling compressibility is important for better and safer product development and design.

HIGTEC can enable CFD analysis of both incompressible and compressible flows in a robust and accurate manner. Applications include aircraft, car spoilers, exhaust, airfoils, injectors, valves, pipelines and much more.



Laminar flow and turbulent flow

HIGTEC supports the modeling of both laminar and turbulent flow regimes. CFD analyzes are used to solve complex flow equations with precise numerical methods. We use several turbulence models, including k-omega SST and k-epsilon. Applications of our CFD analyzes include pipelines, cyclone separators, separators, heat exchangers, smoke diffusion or clean room facilities.

Multiphaseflow CFD simulation

CFD analyzes can be performed for multiphase flow using the volume of fluid (VoF) method. We can perform CFD analyzes for two non-mixing liquids, such as oil, water or air. This approach allows the modeling of laminar or turbulent free surface flows, commonly found in marine or process engineering applications.
